Description:
St Michael’s is a large single-chamber church rising above the Teme Valley. Although completely restored in the late 19th century, the previous church probably dated from the 14th century. The steep drop from the churchyard may denote a pre-Christian site, and contours to the north and west may reflect a possible previous enclosure.
Location:
St Michael’s Beguildy is located on the B4355 (Knighton to Newtown) approximately 13 kilometres (7 miles) from Knighton. It is set on a high knoll in the village centre, opposite the Radnorshire Arms.
